We are very proud to have donated multiple large bags of goods, clothes, and toys to Three Hots and a Cot Military Veterans Charity. We also were able to donate toys to both Salvation Army and the YWCA Kids in Distress with the event. We look forward to helping Three Hots and a Cot and YWCA with multiple events this year!

Vulcanettes - by invitation/interview. Please contact us if you were in the intermediate class and would like to interview for the Vulcanettes program. Vulcanettes will be taught this semester with Wendy Zito and assisted with Nicole.
Thursdays
All classes are eligible to dance in the charity goods drive Feb 10 event "Anti Valentines" at the Wynfrey Hotel. This event will include charity drives for Three Hots and a Cot, YWCA, and will include multiple specialty vendors. Contact us today if you are interested in being a vendor.
Classes will start working with choreography immediately.
It will follow the same formats as the other events.
BAMA GLAMA FOOD NETWORK
Please remember to catch Alabama's newest Food Network Star, Scot Wedgeworth, on Food Network Friday Nights at 6pm. His new show is extemely entertaining and look for RHYTHM N MOTION on Episode 6! We have our fingers crossed as we had less than 24 hours notice to choreograph and fill in as background dancers for a Britney Spears impersonator! It was interesting to do and we are nervous and excited to see it play out on TV! Scot made an appearance at our December event and said he would like to attend Anti Valentines! This is your chance to meet a Food Network Celebrity!
Girls Dance Team Training
We had a great year helping many girls make their middle school and high school dance teams! Sign up your dancer for a $150 training package for 5 one on one hour long private lessons with a Vulcan Performers instructor. They can help with technique, choreography, and skills necessary to help make the team!

Show planning is going great and the event will feature a toy drive to benefit Salvation Army and a goods drive for Three Hots and a Cot homeless vets charity.

Kyle makes an immediate impact by introducing his new class “Shufflin’ style Hip Hop.” Kyle, a professional shuffle and hip hop dancer, teaches your kids in this special topics class the styles seen in videos such as “Party Rock Anthem.” The class is open to ages 10 and above on Tuesdays at 6:30pm starting Tuesday
October 18 through the Dec 11 Show.

Hip Hop Dance Party $7 per person:
On Oct 21 at 6:30pm, the doors will open for the NY/LA Style hip hop kids dance party! These parties were a big hit this summer with lots of great music, cool dancing, and lots of fun!. The attendees tend to be students at Rhythm N Motion, past and present, their friends. We will review popular dances such as the Wobble, Cupid Shuffle, and other Rhythm N Motion originals from 6:30pm to 7:00pm.
We will hold open dancing to follow! Vulcan Performer dancers will be present to help organize and dance! Feel Free to Dress in Halloween Costume!

CHARITY DANCERS
Many members of the Vulcan Performers participated with “Tapping Out Cancer” Charity Dance Event at Gabrella Manor in September. Brooks Macbeth, Alexa Duchock, TJ Zito Jr, Wendy Zito, Nicole Gryder, Ryan Reed, and Kyle Gwin all participated along with many local Birmingham Dance studios. This was the second straight year for the Vulcan Performers appearance at the event started by an eleven year old dancing cancer survivor.

TJ and Wendy Zito also participated in the “Vinnie for Vets” veterans program at Workplay with “Three Hots and a Cot” homeless vets charity. TJ served as the emcee for the event which included performances by popular 1970s band, Vanilla Fudge. Auction items included guitars from famous Rock Musicians and other rock memorabilia.
Three Hots and a Cot is the adopted Rhythm N Motion Charity and we continue to support our vets all year long!

Three Hots will also have a goods drive at “Naughty or Nice” on Dec 11. They have succeeded in providing housing and counseling for hundreds of homeless vets in the Birmingham area.
